KNOW YOUR ERROR:

when you use free hosting then hosting provider adds upload limit to your account due to this you can’t upload more than 10 MB file on your hosting server

How to solve:

Because of this error we cant upload files greter then 10MB but in case of theme it contains large number of subfiles which is less then 10 MB. So to Solve this Problem we have to UPLOAD each file one by one.Practically this is very difficult to upload all files one by one because a theme contains more than 300 sub files.

so there is a trick we will use FTP software to UPLOAD file

here we will use FILEZILLA

(DOWNLOAD FILEZILLA FOR 32 BIT)

(DOWNLOAD FILEZILLA FOR 64 BIT)

SOLUTION:

STEP 1:

Download and install filezilla from above links as per your computer configurations

after this add you FTP information in filezilla and hit QUICKCONNECT

STEP 2:

Now navigate to your wordpress installation location in FILEZILLA and go in “wp-content” folder after go in folder “themes”

generally it is htdocs/wp/wp-content/themes

STEP 3:

Now unzip your theme

STEP 4:

Now navigate to your UNZIP file in FILEZILLA from left-hand side directory

STEP 5:

Select the folder and right CLICK on it and select suboption UPLOAD

STEP 6:

Now wait UNTIL it gets UPLOADED successfully

STEP 7:

Now Log In your WORDPRESS WEBSITE and navigate to

Appearance/theme

At this location, you will see your UPLOADED theme after this select your theme and press apply

YOUR THEME IS SUCCESSFULLY UPLOADED AND INSTALLED

NOTE: If you still have problems like FILEZILLA doesn’t connect to hosting website or any filezilla related problems and any problem in these steps then you are free to comment
